Factory Airbox Mod?

Since the factory air boxes are suppose to be cold air themselves. I was wondering if anyone had experimented and done an airbox mod on them?(Cutting the webs and guts

Save your money, and upgrade to ingens or stillen g3 Cai? unless you're not into hitting the high rmps? Then the stock boxes will do with upgraded k&n filters

the k&n filters and hps post maf tubes are a great, inexpensive combo, i love mine, really smooths out the rpm range and makes good gains for the $$.
