Is there any of that dreaded 'hissing' sound that seems to keep being talked about with aftermarket systems on he VQ engine? I am really thinking abou tgetting one of these sent out to me in UK. I'm assuming any other y-pipe would fit?

No hiss or rasp if you are not running TP or HFC. Works with other Y pipes.
