Bumper 'Flaps'.

Hi Friends,just want to share with you guys,i removed my front bumper 'flaps'[the plastic cover on the side of the grill],find the car runs a bit better power,can it be the air rush in the stock air box.?Maybe.??

Just curious what was nissans purpose for those covers? seeing that they are removable makes me believe they had plans for something.

are far as ive seen you actually have to cut them out...?

Nah they are just held on by a couple of screws. I took mine off to try and increase cooling, didn't notice any power increase.
