I had a similar problem when I went to clean my air filters. Apparently a small piece of a leaf fell down in the intake side of the airbox when I pulled the filter out.
I started the car and drove it to the gas station... missing like **** and then CEL came on and started idle surging from 1k to like 3k. I drove back to my shop and pulled the MAFs out, only to find a piece of leaf was stuck inside. I shook it out, cleaned the MAF and reinstalled it... reset the ECU and it was good to go. Something tells me either the MAFs weren't put back in properly or something is affecting their air flow. I'd pull the intakes back off and check everything again. |
