It'd be subtle looking, and functional (hopefully).
I had the exact same idea. I thought of making something that shoots air up to the intake and onto the brakes at the same time.

Maybe some one should make a kit hehe

I bet Modshack could do it. I'll PM him.

I'm on it! I plan to mount aluminum flanges behind the plate and at the feed through to the air box. Connect it all with very flexible Aeroduct hose and it should work pretty well. Hose routing looks feasible. It will be feeding air to the Boxes I just built:

Thanks Lou! Once I hack up your old airboxes and get the new ones mounted I'll start to play around some more.....I think the fresh air feeds are doable. I have a Scangauge mounted so I can monitor IAT's (Intake air temps). A stock car at stable cruise runs about 10 degrees over ambient. On other designs and cars I've played with, I've been able to get that down to a Zero differential..But it requires direct fresh air from outside the car to make that happen..

So...you're going to route from the slots next to the fangs to the stock airboxes, if I'm reading this right. I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to route to where the filters are with the Stillen setup, right?

LOL....Ben..No reason you couldn't use a Manifold of sorts to pull air from the grill and point it at your Stillen Filters...

Here's a set-up I came up with for my old Audi where I needed to get air from the front of the car to the filter mouth...

Just 2 of those aluminum flanges and a bracket..I'll do some layout work for you when I'm in there...

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have to ask, will this be ok on an auto? I haven't found any info on what type of HP numbers the auto can sustain.

20RWHP is a big gain in power so I would like to know if anyone has info on whether this would work for an auto or not.

Thanks in advance!
