It'll likely sound fairly quiet on start up, won't drone, won't rasp and won't fart. But it will most definitely have a very refined and nice tone as the revs wind. I'd imagine more akin to a louder 350Z exhaust, versus our sh*tty OEM 370Z exhaust.
It's basically exactly what I always look for in the sound of my exhaust - toned and not obnoxious. I hate nice cars that sound like ricers - we simply don't have motors that are refined and nice enough to be left to sing on their own like a lot of modern day V8s and especially supercar V10 and V12s are. |

The Motordyne exhaust system for the 350z was pretty good, hope it will be similar to that. Bassani was working on a system for the 370z but never heard back from them.

Will it be a dual muffler setup like HKS?

I believe Tony has alluded to that, yes. Instead of having two separated muffler canisters, there will be one central one that'll go where the OEM is housed. Whether or not it'll have a dual look like the HKS or an encased one like Invidia, we don't know. But, if a glass pack is being used to prevent drone and excessive vibrations, it'll be an encased muffler like Invidia.
We shall see. That's just speculation. |
