Would that have done it for you?

Thank you,
Tony
If I remember correctly one side was good , passenger, but then the other side was about a half inch off. I ended up grinding off the lip on the factory connecting bracket and mounted it that way. Kind of hard to describe on here.

Did you try to mount the bracket in front of or behind the factory brace? It will make a big difference.

well, I tried both, but behind the brace was a no go, infront of the brace worked, but I had to grind off the sides of the brace. the tabs didn't line up in the U shape of the brace. so I ground the U out of the brace and made it more like an L brace, but only at the ends of the brace, then it fit fine. there was no getting around grinding it, but no worries I like to grind on things.

Is it possible you can send me a pic? It doesn't need to be on the lift. Even a cell phone pic would help. I'm not entirely clear on your description.
Its been installed on many other 370Z's but I havn't heard anything like this.
I may be able to figure it out with a picture.

When installing the ART pipes with the bolts finger tight and before torquing them down with a wrench, the ART pipes will have about +/-10' degrees of rotation available at the header flange. The rotation will give you some adjustability for the installation process. The rotation levers the bracket location.

Did you try different inlet flange rotations during the installation? It basically allows you to swing the pipes to the left or right as needed.

I saw what he was talking about, (dyno day) I was unable to use the mounting bracket on my 350 for the same reason. I guess widening the holes on the bracket helped him.

Yes, he sent me pictures of it. It was installed on the wrong side of the brace.

The bracket must be installed on the top side of the hole.

EDIT: I'll make this clear in the installation instructions.

Add me to the list of customers with leaky gaskets. gasket only, no RTV sealant.

My gaskets went also. Used the silver RTV. Cleared up the problem 100%.

Use rtv plus gaskets .. I have used this combo for years and not one leak . Used just gaskets and leaks .. Used just rtv and it starts to leak over time as well .. The combo is good to go ...

Just listened to the exhaust video again it sounds so raw and unrefined. Maybe it's bc of the mic location.

Nope, just straight RTV. The gaskets were breaking down on the inside- it was pretty bad.

The flanges line up 100%, so it's a complete seal even without the gaskets. This is only between the headers and ART pipe- between the ART and Y-pipe there are gaskets.
