Kastley85891 02-10-2011 08:57 AM

^ With a Y pipe I had a small amount, with a CBE I assume it will be just great, GZ3 sounds happy ;-)

The ART pipes come with a 2 year material and craftsmanship warranty.

If there is ever a problem give us a call. (661) 298-7555 We'll take care of you.;)

Motordyne 02-10-2011 10:26 AM

Not in stock yet. Working on more now.

Great Tony, I am extremely happy with the pipes, but just this one incident I have seen locally so was a bit worried. Though just to clear to everyone your customer service was great  to offer replacement to the guy from Dubai.

Do we need to make some kind of bracket to avoid any breakage or just use it as it is :), as was thinking of getting some weld done

Coming to warranty its for international as well right? any conditions linked to it? like can use with any catback right

Motordyne 02-10-2011 12:48 PM

No change is needed. We found the first 4 units made were accidentally fabricated with 0.049" wall SS304 tubing instead of the required 0.065" wall SS304.

When we get them back in stock We'll send out a proper set.

As far as connection with other catbacks, I can't say with absolute certainty. It will depend in part on the design and fitment of the CBE connected to it. We can however guarantee full compatibility of all Motordyne parts with stock and other Motordyne parts.

So it means there wont be any warranty as I am using mine with Invidia CB exhaust with ART pipes. Only thing is guys here are pushing to get some brackets and if I have the assurance that warranty is there then its a peace of mind for me for the next two years

I am going for a tune next week so will post some dyno numbers:tiphat:

Motordyne 02-11-2011 08:58 AM

The invidia exhaust is fine with the 2 year warranty, but don't make any modifications to the ART pipes.

fairladyZ34 02-11-2011 09:17 AM

mmm i kinda want a pair myself now...

'10Anamoly 02-11-2011 09:19 AM

Hey Tony, was there a downside to putting a support bracket or gusset between the side branch and primary pipe? Seems like it could only help and for a minimal cost.

So I'm sure my HKS Hi power TI should have zero issues with fitment

Kastley85891 02-11-2011 10:39 AM

I think the only issue will be the people stopping you to ask what you are running.. it will sound sick

Weather it be due to excessive thermal gradients or stress risers, I've seen a lot of brackets of different kinds put onto test pipes and HFC's.... and they are notorious for cracking or breaking.

Sometimes its better to simply allow structures (or pipes) to be a little flexible as opposed to rigidly braced.

whoady4shoady 02-11-2011 01:46 PM

Will these work fine with fast intentions?

Motordyne 02-11-2011 06:03 PM

Yes for all professionally made and unmodified "production" CBE's.

I have not seen a set of these myself in person yet!

What I can tell you is that our CBE is designed off of stock catalytic converters. With that being said, as long as these pipes end in stock location you should have no fitment issues...

Thanks, Tony

diablokev87 02-13-2011 03:24 PM

So is there a wait list for these? If so, where do i sign up? :)

Yes.
We are making a list at the sales department. Just send us an email sales@motordyneengineering.com with a description of what you want and leave us your contact information.

For everyone on the list you will be the first to be contacted when production is complete.

Thank you!
Tony

diablokev87 02-14-2011 04:37 PM

Email out. :)

Kastley85891 02-14-2011 04:56 PM

Anyone on the fence.... hell a CBE will cost you double and give you less, get on the list.

You will love the second gear throttle induced slides on corner exit, steering with the rear is now so much easier lol

370Z JT 02-14-2011 09:19 PM

I remember reading about a CAI being developed. When will it be ready for purchase? Or was I thinking of Fast Intentions?

Motordyne 02-15-2011 05:23 PM

No ETA, but yes, I am working on it now.

diablokev87 02-15-2011 10:15 PM

any ETA on the test pipes?

lastblueprint 02-20-2011 11:32 PM

Wow, good things coming out of Motordyne! Can’t wait to see when Exhaust, CAI, M370 and art pipes are installed on my Z. Also from having MD product on my 350z in the past, the quality is always top notch and performance numbers are always felt great….. Good job Tony!

tyler20c 02-25-2011 11:31 AM

Any updates?

Motordyne 02-25-2011 04:42 PM

I spoke with the fabricator today. It should be a little over 4 weeks.

cheshirecat 03-31-2011 08:57 AM

Any updates?

BLM 04-01-2011 07:21 AM

I spoke with Motodyne earlier this week. They said about 2 weeks

Motordyne 04-01-2011 08:20 AM

There is a moderate evolution of the design. It will be a little quieter than the previous design and it will now come standard as ceramic coated stainless steel.

G37sHKS 04-01-2011 08:38 AM

WOOOOOOW thats one badass news tony!!

what about the performance? did it hurt the performance or still same?

christian370z 04-01-2011 11:18 AM

I am considering trading in my Berks for these, awesome update Tony!

GZ3 04-01-2011 12:55 PM
