Franky I can't imagine buying anything that Amuze sells, they are so overpriced.

Amuse recently released a titanium front pipe for the Z34.

The Y-pipe comes from Amuse without a gradation finish. In case someone is unaware, titanium naturally develops a blue hue overtime as it heats up and cools down.

Here are a few pics of a Y-pipe for a Z33 that one of our clients purchased a while back. Notice the development of a blue hue over time.

Steel prices are anywhere from $650-$800 per ton wholesale. The spot price for titanium is a bit over $1100 per ounce. Most titanium alloys are about 80-90% pure, so I wouldn't say it's over priced. Considering the base metal prices, I'd say your average steel exhaust is over priced.

Despite their beautiful finishes and workmanship I would say that they aren't worth the premium unless you're putting together a true show car or a finely tuned race car where every pound will count.

Hey... can you get these new tips with a blue ring versus the purple ring??

The titanium exhaust I can understand, but how do you explain their HFC's that appear to be SS? They are 4 times the price of the Stillen and Berk parts!

The price for the HFC also includes the cost of a front pipe. It is a "package deal" from Amuse

Ah ok, that's better. Should probably word the description on the web site a little better, it's a little vague. In the picture you see a piece of straight pipe in the background so initially you can't even identify it.

I think it is possible. Amuse offers very exclusive options in order to make their products more distinct.

We are considering stocking the Amuse front pipe and HFC.

For the rear section exhaust we probably won't stock it; only reason for this is because there are different gradation finishes/designs that you can choose from when you order. This means that every exhaust is going to be subtly different and unique in its own way. We might stock an exhaust with a gradation finish that no one wants.

This is why for now we are sticking to "special order only". If enough people order an Amuse exhaust we will consider stocking one, especially if a majority of the orders share similarities in gradation finishes.

If we do stock an Amuse exhaust, how many more people would be interested in buying one?

Well, I am interested, but I doubt others will want the finish I will be going for... I don't even know for certain what I want!!
