Hey. I just sent you a PM with several questions. Will you take a look at them? Also, can we expect a Y Pipe from Amuse? Any other cool parts???

I think it is safe to say that we can expect a Y Pipe from Amuse in the future, as well as suspension and aero, maybe even a GT1 or JGTC inspired widebody. None of this is for sure but based on their products with the Z33, the S2000, and the GT-R, I think that everything I mentioned is a definite possibility. We just found out from Amuse that they are offering a new tip design for 2009. The new tip will involve a thicker tip wall with a purple burn around the edge.
Here is a picture I found of an Amuse Z33 Y-Pipe. Last edited by 370Ztune; 05-18-2009 at 06:29 PM. |

Any chance of posting dynos of both pipes?
Also, on your site, it's confusing. In one location, it says the Extra single pipe saves 20.9 lbs., but then it also says 19 lbs. directly underneath there. It also says 19 lbs. and 21 hp. for both the Silent and the Extra pipe, but it seems hard to believe they're both the same... Love the looks of these, love the weight savings - just need more info and more vids (sorry - I'm impatient). |

The R1-Extra is 1.15kg, roughly 2lbs, lighter than the RS-Silent. Currently we do not have any dynographs for the R1-Extra. Based on the form and design of each exhaust, I think it is safe to say that out of the box, the R1-Extra probably provides a little bit more back pressure and less weight; the RS-Silent has more potential for more power gains with other mods. With the R1-Extra, when you order the exhaust, for an additional $200 you can upgrade the two 50mm piping to two 60mm piping. This option helps the R1-Extra with its potential for more horsepower gains with other mods. Once we receive dyno charts from Amuse for the R1-Extra we will be posting those everywhere so keep checking back on our website and threads for updates. This tip design is going to be standard on all Z34 Amuse exhausts for 2009 and the gold ring option is available for those that would like it . Last edited by 370Ztune; 04-30-2009 at 12:47 PM. |

Well, I am see it is the larger piping makes sense IF you plan on heavy upgrades. I don't plan on anything more than catback (y pipe included), maybe an intake, and a tune.
Does that make sense???? I see the larger piping for turbo applications. |

For you then, the R1-Extra with 50mm dual piping sounds ideal IMO. On their website, Amuse recommends not going with the 60mm piping on the R1-Extra unless you plan to achieve over 330ps.
