Default Kinetix Intake

Well I have been emailing kinetix back and forth and they have told me that they are shooting to have their 370 intake by sometime first of the year. From what I have seen this intake looks sick! Has any had any experience with there 350 intake? If so what kinda power did it put out? If the gains are good on this one it might be worth forking out the money.

Are you talking about an intake mani? because if it was anything like the 350 intake mani then it was pretty much fail...they looked great...but allot of them cracked or didnt provide the gains...but some did have luck with them...i saw them on a couple of FI apps. but there was allot more horror stories floating around than positive

Yeah, I think he is talking about the intake manifold. As far as I know they did not make intake pipes.

Hey bud I hope the headers made it to you safely. I actually installed one some years back on a local customers G35 coupe. It looked great and very aggressive. In terms of cracking this is the first I have heard of it but I am sure if there were issues than it has been posted. In terms of performance he noticed a drop off in low end torque and mid range power for an increase in top end. The runner length on the intake had to of been shorter than stock. This would be the main attributing factor to it. If you are going to be the test dummy for the 370 just make sure you get it for free. Just in case it does not work out, you are not out the money.

BTW, when are we getting my system on your car to go along with my headers?

Thanks, Tony
