Default STILLEN Gen 3 Intakes Released!

Well after much anticipation, we've finally released the STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Intake System for the 370Z...

I now know why it's been labeled everything from Gen 3, G3, 3G, etc etc.. too long of a name to type..

STILLEN Gen 3 Intake Release

The final pieces are coming in from the machine shop tomorrow, we'll be shipping as many as we can then, with a steady production stream from there.

Those that want the first sets should order ASAP: STILLEN Gen 3 Product Page

We have been working with a forum member to arrange independent testing, and feel confident he will give you unbiased results, especially since he's purchased another intake even after our discussions, and is interested in testing them independently.

But enough blah blah.. here's an image of the final production version of the 370Z Intake:

And a rough depiction of the path it follows along the intake tract:

We look forward to member feedback, and have just begun our development for the 370Z, as we have done for over 20 years catering to the Z community, even when sometimes they didn't quite look like your average Z.. case in point..

Thanks for getting this out the door so quickly Stillen

Now that you've got a final product, can you comment officially and more specifically on a couple of points?

(1) On the 370Z, is filter removal basically going to be a matter of removing a panel from the underside of the front of the car? In the photos they look a bit high up to reach from there, but it's hard for me to picture exactly how the removal/reinstall of the filters would go without seeing it installed in person.

(2) Without a center support (or any support that I can see aside from where it attaches at the TB) like the splash shield on the G37 version, I imagine the tubes are going to bounce around a bit more. Would it make sense perhaps, after enlarging the holes for the tubes to pass through, to apply some weatherstrip or something to the edges of the holes to keep the tubes from beating themselves up on it and/or clanging around?

Very good news! I hope to see some independent dyno results soon, after which I'll be ordering mine. My Z is still about a month or two away so I have time.

Gen 3's are definitely top notch designed intakes!

got them on my G and got some nice power out of them. not a whole lot of torque...but you gotta think of it that some intakes you actually loose torque so to even gain a little is a plus.

before and after dyno's were as follows (car already had Berk HFC):

Only with Berk HFC: 253.6whp/229.9wtq
Berk HFC + Stillen Gen. 3= 266.6whp/233.4wtq

anyone who asks for this exact dyno sheet, i didn't load it up...but you can check out here and see my before and after dyno with the Gen 3's and the Cobb AP: Cobb AccessPort & Stillen Gen. 3's on there way...dynos to follow. - MyG37

to Stillen!
