A lot of people will tell you about the demon bolt and the difficulty involved but in all honesty if you start with the right tools from the get-go you won't have any issues.

I think it depends on whether or not it was cross-threaded from the factory. Seems that a good number of them are.

Mine were certainly in bad form but if you use an impact swivel, impact socket, 1/2" ratchet with extensions, and 4 ft breaker bar they'll come right out.

Lots of noise and a lot of tugging on the bar, but no broken equipment or sheared bolts.
