Has anyone installed this Y pipe? The straight back shape looks good and it sells for $200 on ebay. Any thoughts?

I am going the HFC and Y pipe combo with stock exhaust. I dont want my car to be loud, but I want the performace. This setup has been used by other members with good results. In my opinion spending around 2k for a exhaust setup for 25 whp is out of this world. My combo CNT HFC 375 + OBX Y pipe 200 = 575. A little more sound and performance (maybe the 25 whp)

I agree. The two biggest restrictions in the OEM exhaust in my opinion are #1 the cats and #2 the Y pipe. I wish I could say how much I picked up in terms of power with just my HFC/Y pipe setup but my butt dyno says it made a big impact in power and acceleration.

Yep... you've got it. However, if you are leaning towards going the full exhaust route, you may want to hold off on the Y pipe. Many of the better aftermarket exhausts replace all of the piping behind the cats, so there would be no use for a Y pipe.

That depends on which CBE you are interested in; I got a Tanabe Y pipe with the intent on eventually getting a Tanabe y-pipe back exhaust later as the y pipe and the midpipe/muffler sections are seperate.
