I've had mine since April, and put a good 5,000 miles on it. When you first get it, it will drone a bit and be fairly loud. A nice sound none the less. Once it gets broken in a little, the volume will go down and the drone will disappear. It will be deep, throaty, and aggressive. It makes the car sound like a sports car. It sounds like a higher end porsche, would be a way to describe it. I've gotten numerous compliments. Its a great exhaust, and a perfect balance in terms of sound, not to loud, not to soft, just right. None of the videos posted give it justice, in real life it sounds like the videos, but just better.

I think he asked cuz someone was complaining about a whistle/woot noise from the x-pipe with HFC or TP's, i'm not sure, on another thread and returned it. He said it was really bad and put up a video but i couldnt really hear it. I am still waiting on the exhaust (hope it didnt get lost in shipping) but I have recieved my TP's and headers so i'll do a thread and video on that whenever the CBE gets here.

Yes, the noise is present with HFC's. It is basically the trademark hiss, but eminating from under the car rather than the tailpipe.

I kinda have this theory that it may be escaping through the flex joints. I would like to try welding a straight piece of pipe there instead, but I don't want to chop up my exhaust only to find out that I am wrong.

Then it should cause the same noise when its just the catback installed. I have heard the exhaust in person with just the catback. No hiss or Rasp..

In addition, The berk exhaust which does not have a Flex joint still produces the hiss.

Well the theory is that the extra exhaust being able to flow through the HFC/TP's into the xpipe is y the noise is present and you will not hear it with the stock cats.

Someone mentioned using heat wrap/thermowrap on the xpipe and it limited/removed the noise...but thats rumor, the person had heard that from another person :/

Honestly, if there's no cosmetic problems on yours.. You will enjoy this exhaust a lot. Members question me why I installed the exhaust even when I was unhappy with how they came in.. Here is my reasoning..

- I want to see if there will be any leak. As of today with loads of WOT there NO LEAK. Ive checked multiple times.
- don't want to have to return and absorb the restocking fee plus the hastle of packing and sending is not my thing.
- the most important of all.. I'm very happy with the exhaust note. It's loud and aggressive when you want to and surprisingly quite during cruising.

^That too

Overall.. I AM a SATISFIED Ark customer. I haven't made contact and do not feel the need to as, like I said above, I am content with what I got. I posted pics to share.. Definitly NOT to stir things up around the forum nor to get back to ARK.

For those who understood where I was coming from, thank you. It's always nice to know there are others that stand up for me while I was getting accused of many things.

Anyways.. Let's end the drama here. Let's keep this thread up for updates of those who choose to contribute on their experience with the Ark exhaust.. And of course DEFINITELY NEED DYNO SHEETS!

If there's anybody around SD that wants to see/hear/feel? (lol) the exhaust.. Shoot me a PM. I'll be more than happy to drive you around

Thank you for concluding this in such a mature and professional fashion. I just wanted to point out one thing. If there was a problem, you are not responsible for restocking fees and such.

Due to its demand, We had one of these specifically made to see how it would look like.

Comments and Suggestions are welcome. BTW, these are for sale. We had 15 of these made.

Only 14 left...Mine just left ARK on the Fed-Ex truck this afternoon!

Thanks to Sean at ARK for tipping me off to the full polished option. Can't wait to get it!
