Cleaning is easy for the dry filters. Knock out the dirt, rinse them if necessary, let them dry, then reinstall. Oiled filters are a bit or complicated. As you have to remove the oil and then re-oil them after cleaning. (They sell cleaner kits, but Simple Green works just fine.) Hence, the reason most stick with dry filters. |

Interesting. Amazon has a drop down check to see if the above fits my car and I'm getting a warning that it does not (2015). The AFE site says it does fit and the numbers match. Just an observation for anyone else that may be looking.

Thanks again for the Amazon tip. I applied some of my Amazon VISA points and was able to lower the cost even further.

AFE also now builds all of Greddy's intakes. Drop in (afe) and post maf tubes is the best way to go, Like it was already said, the stock box is made to flow very well. There really is no point in going with the G3 or alike since our stock system is already a great cold air intake system. AFE hands down is the best drop in available.

I put the afe pro dry drop ins and immediately noticed a difference, felt it just allows it to breath better. Also the intake tone increased and I also had great results and gains when using afe in my past audi's. Ref: 2015 roadster 1 month new, less than 2500 miles. And yes I drove it a bunch!!!

Everybody still liking their AFE dry filters? I'm debating between K&N and AFE, now that the R2C is unavailable...

I'm a big fan of dry filters. But I haven't seen any air flow data or dyno comparisons with the AFE filters.

Thanks! That's the setup I was looking at to compliment the FI exhaust system. Did you get the AFE drop ins from Z1 website or somewhere else?
