Need help diagnosing a problem.
Here's the scoop. I had previously installed Stillen G3 intakes, and a stillen exhaust. the car ran great, but wasnt loud enough for me. I decided to increase the sound by going with Berk HFC's. I knew about the 'demon bolts' and decided to go straight to a shop for the install. Anyhow, as soon as I heard the car start up after the install, i thought to myself "this is NOT how this car is supposed to sound". I told the guy that installed them, and he assured me i'd be ok.
I did feel under the car to see if I could feel an exhaust leak, but I could only feel the warmth of the pipe, and no exhaust. You can hear in the video the car hisses at just below 2k rpms. I've heard other people say they get a huge power increase from Berk's HFCs but honestly I felt no change, or maybe even a drop. Anyhow, I dont have anyone else with me to do isolation tests to figure it out, so I thought i'd take some video, and see if any of you with all your expertise could help me pinpoint what would cause this problem. On to the videos.

Totally normal!
When you open up the exhaust with HFCs or test pipes you get the hiss. All the crossover pipe systems do it. It's not a problem... it just is what it is.

^Oh really? That's surprising to hear. I was basing mine from other cars i've seen on youtube (which I know not all cameras pick up sound the same) with the same mods. Anyhow, the other cars seemed to sound deeper, without the hiss.

It varies from exhaust to exhaust, but any system on the 370 that has a crossover pipe is going to have a bit of a hiss. The hiss is amplified with HFCs or test pipes.

I doubt you lost any power whatsoever, but the power increase would not be as noticeable with your other breathing mods. The hiss is definately not unique, I can't think of any exhaust I have heard on the 370z that has been able to completely get rid of it.

Also...is that moisture leaking down from one of the joints in the exhaust? I'm guessing that wouldn't be a good thing...

I couldn't watch the video but unless your car was wet recently you shouldn't have moisture dripping from any flange. If you have moisture coming down from a flange typically it's a sign of an improperly secured one.
