Buying Intake need opinion
So im in the market for a long tube intake but I'm confuse on all 3 AEM Stillen or injen. What's everyones opinion which is better has no problems like check engine light, rattling etc. I've been holding of for awhile but I think it's that time for me. I wanted to go force induction but Money is tight. Do they all make the same amount of power?

Most people on here have the Stillen, followed by the injen. Not many have the AEM.

Power is going to be about the same with the Stillen pumping out a few more HP possibly, but the Injen I personally feel have a better build quality to them and I owned the Stillen.

My personal preference is for bolt-on/bolt-off mods, which leaves the Injen. |

Injen's only required modification is, I believe, the washer fluid reservoir has to be chopped and modded. They may even include a custom one in their package. Check out m4a1mustang's DIY thread for details.
Also, AAM Competition, one of our forum sponsors, can custom machine you a long cold air intake that requires little additional mods. You might want to hit up either Jon or Clint from AAM for details on their intakes. |

The only thing the gets fu$%ed is the factory windshield washer fluid tank. You will have to cut the cap section off for the new tank. I also drilled and fitted the tank injen includes to support the fluid level sensor. I have had 0 problems with my injen CAI and I especially like the black tubes. Good luck with your choice

I've got the Injens and have been happy with them. It includes the smaller washer fluid reservoir so like others have said the only modification you have to do is cut the existing one. Not a big job at all. I also like the black tubes the injen offer.
