Loud Exhaust Drone at old start ups
 

At cold start the Exhaust has a loud drone but it goes away after about 20-30 seconds. I have a friend that has a Nismo and his cold start is the same. Is this normal for these cars

Yup quite normal. No need to worry about it

yea completely normal. i believe at a cold start up the car idles higher, making it warm up quicker. and the exhaust note is noticeable louder during this time too.

Perfectly fine...You'll learn to love it when you have an aftermarket exhaust and you go out early in the morning before the sun is out to warm it up before you go to work....Your neighbors will hate it though
