Coaster, how is the sound? I heard that the invidia is a little loud. Also, I know that wot power will be much improved but how is the low and mid range power?

Definitely louder and deeper than stock, but not too loud. Stillen and Invidia are probably the quieter systems out there. At cruising speed, it is barely noticeably louder. It's louder when you gun it. Bluestyle55 has a good comparison video for stock+Gen3+Invidia posted here and on Youtube. Just search "Invidia db comparison". Like most exhausts, the most gains are at the top end. There is some low and mid range improvement but not proportional to the higher range. Once you finish your intake/exhaust upgrades an ECU tune will help improve the low and mid-range performance, amongst other things.

I definitely agree with this. It sounds a lot better imo. When you gas it, it's nice and deep. Otherwise, it sounds relatively tame. Bluestyle55's video helped a lot, as well as TROOPER's video. I think you'll love it. At times for me, I wished it was louder. Today though, the exhaust sounded perfect. Must be the cooler weather :-). Please post pre/post dynos when you get a chance. Congrats and good luck!

Yeah, I know you will. I was a bit hesitant at first, but after hearing my friend drive my car, as well as getting comments from friends, I am definitely happy! Can't wait to see dynos.

Default dyno stats

Installed the CBE (Invidia Gemini), CAI coming next week. Although the peak hp increase was only 7hp the minimum gains were at peak. Between 1700 and 3000rpm gains were between 10 and 25hp and 20-45 ftlbs! From 3000-7000rpm increase was a very steady 10-15hp and 10-15 ftlbs. Drivability is greatly improved. Low end difference is HUGE. The can now sings! WFO sound is incredible, no noticeable difference in steady state cruising with the top and windows up.

I am VERY satisfied with this CBE.

I will post the dyno stats once the CAI is in.

Thanks for the preliminary dyno results. It's good to see some objective numbers to back up the butt dyno.

Default Dyno results

Stillen CAI (G2) and Invidia CBE

Max HP +34.7 but substantial increases in area beneath the curve, lots of usable midrange and it sounds great (particularly with the top down)!

I can't get the image to show so please click here to see the dyno chart
