I just did mine today. I have been waiting for my Berk exhaust since January and my friend is about to ship it to me here in Germany. I went ahead and did this to tide me over. I have Berk HFC's and I hate rasp with a passion. This sounds amazing to me! No rasp and very little drone on the Autobahn at 120mph
I can't believe the sound you get with 16 washers and HFC's! For those looking for sound and don't care about gains try it out. You have absolutely nothing to loose doing this MOD. If you don't like it, take the washers out and put the gasket back in and tighten her back up. Good luck to all who try this

I do have HFC's so I can't say what the stock exhaust sounds like but I bet it sounds good either way.
