ARK Exhaust owners please chime in.
Hello all, i have spoken to a couple of you and have heard nothing but praises about this exhaust (thanks Fullmonty). But i am interested in a specific answer, actually a video. If possible can someone record what this exhaust sounds like in 6th gear freeway cruising, then dropping to 5th, then 4th, then acceleration. Windows up, and windows down. Im interested in truly hearing the tone of this exhaust when accelerating through the gears. If you have HFC's that would be a plus. thanks.

With the stock cats you will get a clean tone throughout the band.
Definition of drone may vary. Depending on the person, drone may be very minimal to none. If you want to compare this exhaust to others currently out, this exhaust has no drone. Alex |

honestly guys, this video is what will determine my decision in purchasing this exhaust. I love the BERK CBE but if ARK sounds just as good and exotic, i will go this route.
This is what im comparing it too for reference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxVyX...eature=channel Last edited by HATED1; 09-07-2010 at 05:18 PM. |

With HFC's, the exhaust will obviously be a bit louder, but drone is minimal. Right around 2700-3k rpm, it is actually very quiet. On the down side, HFC's will make the car hiss alot on decel. This happens with just about every exhaust though, and is not unique to ARK.
If sound is more important to you than performance, you may want to avoid HFC's. Else, you can try FI's resonated cat pipes and see how well they work at controlling the hiss.
