With HFC's, the exhaust will obviously be a bit louder, but drone is minimal. Right around 2700-3k rpm, it is actually very quiet. On the down side, HFC's will make the car hiss alot on decel. This happens with just about every exhaust though, and is not unique to ARK.
If sound is more important to you than performance, you may want to avoid HFC's. Else, you can try FI's resonated cat pipes and see how well they work at controlling the hiss.
