Default Stillen intake ruined by dealership.

So as you guys know I got my intake installed by my dealership's GT-R technician

but when the tuning dude took them off so he had more room to work with around the engine for the LTH install he discovered that they have been damaged quite baddly.

I loved his reaction "lol and you thought you got nice airflow"

But yeah going to my stealership soon and present them the pictures

and now for pictures

That was done on purpose! It takes effort to make those type of bends on that tubing.

I wouldn't know why he would do it on purpose.

I mean...its his job and he had to study to get his GT-R license so why would he ruin my intakes on purpose

Ok, that is über scary since I'm getting my car from the same stealership.

Let us know what the heck happened and what they're gonna do to rectify this. I thought the mechanic who installed it is supposed to be good and more to the point he's supposed to be qualified?

(Btw, Vegitto I saw you & your car on Leuvensesteenweg during an afternoon traffic jam 2-3 days ago, you definitely stood out of the crowd )

I don't know! He could be a jerk! I do have techs that are certified for the R8, S8, etc at my work so I'm sure Nissan does it the same way. I just don't get how they could have done that. The install is so easy. Sorry your having to deal with this!

Honestly, I doubt the mechanic would risk losing his job just cause he's a jerk... I think he's prolly earning quite a good salary compared to a lot of other mechanics in Brussels. It doesn't really make sense for him to bend it like that unless he thought it was necessary for the installation?

oh really?

I remember going there for my insurance paperwork for the damage on my car. If you need an adress for the guy that now handles my car, it is a pretty long drive but I am 100% pleased with him and he is the guy that discovered the damage.

so how did he sound? I remember always staying in first during the jam for the delicious bubbling and stuff.

Yeah im going to the dealership on monday. I will wreck them if they don't help me out.

Yeah, it was prolly more than 2-3 days, can't remember exactly, but I do remember you were deep in a traffic jam . I was going in the opposite direction then I saw your car and opened my window quick but some douche was sticking to my bumper so I couldn't stop and say hi to you.

It sounded quite loud even though my diesel took most fun out of listening to your baby - but your car is definitely louder than stock .

I wouldn't say no to know where you go for your tune, I mean had you not told here I would have prolly gone for this guy at the stealership. I'm OK to go far if the job is done properly!

Man, that's ******* crazy! I'd be kicking their asses if I was you. Talk to the managers and get them to reimburse you completely for the intakes and "install". Then, just do it yourself, its pretty straight forward, and at least you'll know whether or not you did a good job in the end.

going to pm you now.

The funniest thing is, me and my father went there with the GT-R and 370.

after our visit out of nowhere 3 other 370Zs came and a G37. it was like I lured them there

and even funnier, after I got my FI CBE and LTH installed this guy I know that is going to use his 370 for rally driving just went to me and went "lol I ordered 2 FI LTH sets"

I am a trendmaker.

well the tuner guy that I know has told me that if they repay me he will reinstall it for free since he is getting pissed off at dealerships messing up cars. if they don't repay me he offered to make the exact thing but I just have to pay for the materials used and I can pick any type of metal.

titanium stillen intake ftw
