use some nice worm gear clamps next time.

Just my 2 cents...

As for the crushed pipes, you can easily fix it with a mandrel, like a wooden ball.

My instant reaction was this /\ but then I read about the over torquing the bolts. HOLY Sh*t! He must have over tightened by 60 turns!!!! Those STILLEN pipes are VERY sturdy and you can even use them as a self defense item (if you're in a bad situation ). wow.. As a GTR tech, that's a shame. 2 weeks NO PAY suspension will teach him a lesson!

Those Stillen intakes are indeed very sturdy. I have heard of people crimping or collapsing the ends of the pipes due to improper torqueing of the T-Bolt clamps, but that is ridiculous. I would place money that he was using a battery/pneumatic impact gun when he was tightening the clamps.

I have seen minor scratches done to the pipes while installing them before, but that took some effort to damage the pipes in such a manner.

A good Muffler shop can make those round again, but you really should expect better from a GTR tech....

Well that is what the real deal is. I haven't had any issues with the dealer. I also haven't asked them to do anything but regular maintenance items either.

It's a sad day when a "supercar" tech shows his true colors in this way.

Lol our GT-R was in for a big maintenance some days ago.

it is making odd noises in the engine bay now and my mother says that it is acting odd and jerking forwards like she stepped on the throttle while she didn't.

Yea but he may be killing those 80 GTRs if he works on them in the same manner.

Well yeah but I think they prefer one out of 80 with a ****** up install.

its that or no GT-R maintenance.

I am honestly scared that he did something to the GT-R, it sounds odd and it is behaving odd

A GTR is still just a car, nothing that a good mech hasnt seen before so maybe find a good mech and have him check it out. Certificates mean nothing when you look past the cover.

GT-R can only be maintenanced by a GT-R certified technician.

Hell technically you get into trouble if somebody other than the GT-R technician puts on a exhaust or anything.

basically GT-R touched by a non certified technician = complete warranty loss.

my father HAS said "lol warranty? Untill something goes wrong"
