QAS Germany: 40 hp gain w/ exhaust system + reflash
Hi,
one of our german forum members has been to "QAS", one of our fovourite tuners. They installed a catback exhaust, hi-flow cats and headers, finally they made an ecu-reflash. The gain in power is about 40 hp (at the crankshaft): 367 PS (= 372 hp) and 380 Nm (= 280 lbf ft). This is our memberīs new video: Please note: the co-driverīs weight is about 100kg YouTube - Nissan 370Z 0 - 200 with QAS exhaust system I suppose the run from 0-200 km/h takes about 19 seconds... best regards mike

As I have previously said Mike, VERY IMPRESSIVE! I'm not sure if this exhaust is available here in the states. Someone can chime in ....

I'm willing to bet if this is accurate that it has more to do with the gas they get and the tuning/timing. I'm sure the exhaust plays a big roll too but you have to look at the whole picture.

"Vmax" only switches off the 250 km/h-limiter.
"Performance" additionally changes the Target-A/F. This changes the long-term lambda correction, which is necessary to reach the maximum power gain of exhaust-systems and air-induction systems. The engine map wont be touched. "Performance Plus" = "Performance", but w/ changed mapping. They promise some extra power gain. regards mike
