QAS Germany: 40 hp gain w/ exhaust system + reflash
Hi,
one of our german forum members has been to "QAS", one of our fovourite tuners. They installed a catback exhaust, hi-flow cats and headers, finally they made an ecu-reflash. The gain in power is about 40 hp (at the crankshaft): 367 PS (= 372 hp) and 380 Nm (= 280 lbf ft). This is our memberīs new video: Please note: the co-driverīs weight is about 100kg ;) YouTube - Nissan 370Z 0 - 200 with QAS exhaust system I suppose the run from 0-200 km/h takes about 19 seconds... best regards mike http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/1...133be24.th.jpg |

As I have previously said Mike, VERY IMPRESSIVE!  I'm not sure if this exhaust is available here in the states. Someone can chime in ....

QAS tuning now confirmed
22nd of Oct: Another 370Z with same setup on the dyno Performance gain 43 PS / 22 Nm (42 hp / 16 lbft) http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/8475/diagr.th.jpg Headers, metal HFCs, catback, ecu reflash After tuning: 359 PS / 374 Nm (354 hp / 276 lbft) |
40hp crank not wheel. Seems about normal..

HI , friends, I live in Italy , I fitted on my 370 a Exoticspeed + Hi Flow Cat , now I will want to reflash the ecu , It's possible with QAS ? wich of ecu reflash you raccomanded for me? Plus , Performance , or V-Max ?
Thank you |
"Vmax" only switches off the 250 km/h-limiter.
"Performance" additionally changes the Target-A/F. This changes the long-term lambda correction, which is necessary to reach the maximum power gain of exhaust-systems and air-induction systems. The engine map wont be touched. "Performance Plus" = "Performance", but w/ changed mapping. They promise some extra power gain. regards mike |
reflash Is what I need
