my Berks hfc's will be here tomorow and i cant wait but im just scared to lose some loudness compare to my tp's is there really a big diff in

Question about berk's hfc
my Berks hfc's will be here tomorow and i cant wait but im just scared to lose some loudness compare to my tp's
 is there really a big diff in sound? i just wanna get rid of that nasty (civic) rasp and that yellowish crap on my rear bumper, plus chicks dont dig the smell

I figure running rich will make for the "soot look" behind the car. Where does the yellow come from? I'd imagine all the emissions gasses that a CAT is supposed to break down...
