I’m really sorry to read about your experience with Stillen's CBE. Have you tried to reach out to Josh@Stillen who is often on these boards? If that’s the case, IMO it just would have made good customer service sense, just to have swap out that part at least! I’m just trying to figure out how to determine you have a fitment issue without installing first? That being said, thanks, for the heads up, I will certainly look at my exhaust shipment tomorrow. Good luck, Alex

The OP will have "0" fitment issues with the FI CBE. Good choice

ahh, another exhaust thread turns into a VS. thread, since we're all giving opinions, I think any exhaust with a fart can muffler looks riced out as fvck, but hey, thats my opinion
Congrats on your purchase Moha, its a nice sounding setup, hope you dont mind the drone though, because with any setup offered, it has it.

Thank you all for helping me to decide to go for the FI over Stillen. but i'm confused about one more thing which is the loudness of the FI, so i posted a thread to help people like me to decide.

I love the FI exhaust's look and sound, but more $, same gains, and god knows if I'd still have the car by the time it got here is what drove me to the Stillen. Quote:

Greeting WB and Welcome to the Forum!!! Sorry to hear what you went through with Stillen, and I would feel the same if I was you... Don't be sorry for having a negative reply on your first post...Thanks a lot for keeping it real...That's what this forum is all about...to give honest and unbias opinions to other members so that they don't experience the bad stuff on their own...I know when I first bought my Z I wanted so many parts, but after becoming a member of this forum, I came to realize that what I wanted (as far as parts/performance) wasn't going to work for me...There's a lot of members here that have contributed to reviews, and have saved alot of us a lot of time and $$$$....

There are a few criteria that I have for an aftermarket exhaust. I don't want to go over them all. But the one area I think could have been improved on the Stillen design was the wieght. I don't think an aftermarket system should ever be heavier than the stock one.

If you lose the stock cats with a set of HFCs, you shed 7 pounds off the car from what I measured when I pulled my stockers off and weighed in the Berks.
