Fast intentions with flat black resonators FTW, thats what I have. I was turned of by stillens tips, they stick out way to far for my taste.

Good luck with your choice

I understand many people had this problem, but here is how mine when on on the first try. Yes, they stuck out a bit when you fist hang it which is why I pushed the exhaust onto the hangars and slip fittings until it was all in place. If you put your HFCs on the wrong side, you would probably have some fitment issues too

I would go with FI because:

-the "customer service" is fantastic.
-the system is lighter than Stillen's solution.
-You can choose how much it will be loud.

My money's on Stillen CBE ,

New Stillen CBE should arrive on Wednesday of next week the 1st, FedEx tracking, thanks Max@Stillen.

CBE are being installed by my Nissan dealership to go with my newly installed Stillen G3 intakes they also installed , let me say they did a great install.

I want to hear Stillen CBE for a while before deciding to install HFC or not , if i do I'll most likely go with Berk's HFC.

I'll try to post a sound video then.

Stay tuned,

Alex

Good choice. Non resnonated is the loudest. 12 res is in the middle and 18 res is a little bit louder.

FYI: The 18" is quieter than the 12" due to the extra length, that makes it quieter

ahh, another exhaust thread turns into a VS. thread, since we're all giving opinions, I think any exhaust with a fart can muffler looks riced out as fvck, but hey, thats my opinion

Congrats on your purchase Moha, its a nice sounding setup, hope you dont mind the drone though, because with any setup offered, it has it.

After thinking about it more I can see how you might pick up some weight in the front section. Base/Sport/Touring models have a Y pipe not a dual there. The Nismo exhaust and most aftermarket that are full cat-back will have a X or H pipe which will weight a little more due to more piping.

I was surprised to see the weight of the stock at 54, I'm guessing thats due to the single Ypipe. I measured the NISMO at 66 LBS and the HKS at 60 LBS. It's a weight savings for me

Not to get off topic:

In fact I brought the base model 010, 370Z, AT bone stock without any of the packages , with weight concerns in mind.

I owned a 08, 350Z Touring loved the car, but I felt it was too heavy for my taste ; the idea of Nissan making the 370Z lighter was a step in the right direction IMO!

What I didn’t want to do is load up the car, with none performance stuff which would bring the cars weight right back up again.

I felt with the base AT bone stock I would be able to pick the mods and control how much weight I wanted in the car and wind up with a lighter Z car at the end of the day.

It’s interesting my base AT bone stock ,weighs 37 lb more than a bone stock 6MT, but 10 to 43 lbs less than some of the touring and 31 lbs less than a Nismo.

I guess I‘ll be over my bone stock curb weight of 3,269 lb + 11lbs Stillen CBE, over stock CBE total 3,280 lbs.

When I swap out my stock HFC for Berks I’ll shed 7 lbs. then I’ll be at 3,273 lbs. , I also plan on swapping out my Stillen “Y” pipes for Tanabe “Y” pipes may shed some weight off there too.

That's it no more burrito's !

Alex
