Your answer is in the post directly above yours. Nothing "voids your warranty". A warranty claim can be denied if the dealer can show the modification directly resulted in the failure.

Haha yeah I just seen that, thanks!!

I'd definitely like to do this to my Nismo. It's too quiet. Would this void my warranty though? I mean. Would the dealership be able to tell if my exhaust was modified if I took it for a routine oil change and maintenance? I know intakes in general won't void the warranty if the dealer installs those.

everything and anything can and most likely will be used against you in a warranty claim

why the heck are you not doing this stuff yourself?

if you're afraid of voiding warranty, mod the car yourself, and do all the maintenance yourself and if a problem arises, revert back to stock and take it in for warranty

just remember though that you will be committing fraud if you do that

you gotta pay to play, if you dont want to pay than keep it stock until warranty expires at 5 years or 60k miles then modify the car

Technically, any modification can be used as an reason for a dealer to deny your warranty. The only thing that can be a safe guard is if you have them install the parts and have them expressly note that it will not void your warranty. Or you can find a mod friendly dealer, your local area forum can probably recommend these if you are interested.

i can not tell you how wrong this is, Nissan north america approves and denies all warranty claims, the dealer doesn't, regardless if your service advisor tells you and signs a notarized statement that it wouldn't void the warranty entirely(which he is not lying, if you blow your motor because of a twin turbo kit and your glove box suddenly falls off for no reason and you are under basic warranty, Nissan is required by law to fix your glove box under warranty if it is a manufacture defect), if nissan says no for reason XYZ, you can contest it, but in the meantime, you are stuck with a broken car until the court case gets settled(and chances are you will lose)

Are the berk hfc causing any CELs to go off? I have the ark dts system and I'm kinda interested in the berk hfc.

I read somewhere talking about how the dealership can't deny your warranty because of a little mod. Technically they can't do that. People have called the Nissan company directly. So if you want to know for sure call them and ask.

I wonder if this can fit on a turbo build?
