found this.... opinions on the performance..... |
You'll lose 100HP with all that flex pipe!!!!!!!!!!
WTF, that is just awful. Who could even look at that and think they would get performance out of that.
My god its a fail intake
I thought carbon fiber in any product automatically led to a gain of at least 20 HP?!?
Looks like my shopvac. :D

RS Type = Real Shitty Type
Rip-off of the BMC intake system. May or may not fit on the 370...it's a unversal system....SKIP!
hrmm. so theres a duct in front of the filter?
isnt that similar to the guys who are trying to use similar type piping to get more air up tot he gen III intakes?? if this design is 100% useless then so is their ducting. |

If you honestly think a slinky and a plastic can is better engineered than the intake designed specifically for this car by actual engineers, then by all means try it out.
The best part of that is the coffee can wrapped in cf.
The filter they use is garbage. The intake tube looks like cheap sewage ducting, and will not block out heat. You could easily build something like this by hacking up your airbox for the MAF holder, a coffee can, some 3M cf rolls with adhesive backing, a decent K&N filter, and shopping around for half decent ventilation ducting to the front fangs. |

but the idea that the ducting itself wont do anything means that the ducting to help the gen III's wont provide any benifits vs just having the gen III's themselves. |
Also, the 3" diameter will completely fvck up MAF sensor readings.
