i have the fast intentions 18" exhaust on my roadster and looking to get either test pipes or high flow cats. i am wondering which would be the best one for horsepower an along with some sound just not too much. anyone with info let me know

Try it with the stock cats first the FI exhaust is loud by itself.

I'm kind of curious what my car would sound like with test pipes instead of the HFC's. My problem is that I like the idea of using cat's from the pollution and smell perspective.

I've probably owned more cars without cats (because I'm old) than not. They didn't smell. well, not from the exhaust, anyway.

Stock cats for sure. Kirkster has ridden in my car so he's not joking when he says the 18" is fairly loud as is.
If it's not loud enough for you then add HFCs.
