Default HKS Racing Suction Kit

Many Nissan owners have at least heard of HKS. HKS is known as one of the more versatile, more affordable, and more reliable companies in the industry today.

HKS focuses mainly on the performance aspect of the industry and offers many different applications for many different makes and models.

This HKS Suction kit for the new 370Z is a fusion of simplicity with performance; in other words, sometimes the simplest design is best.

Pricing and availability has not been announced for this particular product yet; once it has been, we will try our best to ensure immediate notification to the members of this community.

Well...for one it gets rid of the entire corrugated pastic section of the stock intake. That theoretically means smoother and better airflow. The air filters are just HKS' signature mushroom design that supposedly adds more surface area to the filter.

I don't know where BPAuto got the notion that HKS is "more affordable"...more affordable than Zele Titanium intakes maybe...

I dont like that the MAF sensors are so close to the filters.. I'm sure its good though, HKS makes quality stuff that is usually very well designed.

This setup doesn't seem to have any heat shields present.

let's hope it's better designed for the 370 as it was not so great for the 350.

Holy crap those MAF's are close to the filters....

Then again, LS1 MAF's are very close to the lid/filters, too, so....

My LSx motor was that way also. My tuner said it was actually better to have the MAF farther from the filter, so the air has had time to straighten out, and you get a more accurate reading.

I dont know, I get great mileage and a nice A/F ratio even with the way it is, so...they must have done something right.
