Just curious where the filter sits... Thanks!

And the other side, note the swapped washer fluid tank.

wow.. that's sooo low to the ground! You guys are lucky you don't have to drive though flooded bay water! Two days ago, I was driving on 6-8" of water :shakes head:

atx370z 08-21-2010 03:41 PM

Perfect! Thanks fellas.

Seems like they will get more fresh air in that spot than the location of the filters on the Stillen intakes. If not, it will definitely be easier to redirect fresh air to the Injen filters.

m4a1mustang 08-21-2010 03:43 PM

FWIW I think the Stillens actually get more fresh air than the Injens.

AK, yeah, they are low to the ground. We had some heavy rains and flooding recently which had me pretty nervous!!!

Dude, be very careful. Don't hydro lock the Z!. I know few 370Z members already hydrolocked their Z :(

I won't!

Good lord those filters are close to the road. It just looks like it's waiting to get hydrolocked. I think i'd be a little more comfortable personally with the Stillen G3's filter location if I were to go with a CAI.

How did they hydrolock their Z? Was it from a CAI? if so, what one?

Yeah, they drove through standing water with the Injens.

vizzy 09-27-2010 10:35 PM

Anybody having water issues with the stillen G3's?

m4a1mustang 09-27-2010 10:42 PM

The G3s place the filter above the bumper bar, so water ingestion should only be an issue if you drive into a lake.
