Sillen G3 Intake and Exhaust

Yesterday I was at the Stillen facility in Costa Mesa, everyone was really friendly from the sales person to the sales manager which took me on a tour to the mechanics.

This is a huge plus for Stillen to have everyone be so friendly. The mechanic took my car for a short drive to analyze the noises I was hearing. He said it was normal 370Z noises but he was nice about it, explained everything in the best way and shares the passion of automobile.

Max my sales rep was really cool and helpful and Jeff the sales manager was absolutely great, showed me around and even got to see the R&D. It was great.

Even the receptionist was really nice and talked about cars, called me a cab and was friendly.

I am really glad I went to Stillen as no other after market place I know are this friendly and helpful. I am emphasizing on this point (friendly, passion of automobile) as too many times when installing after market parts, shops think you know nothing, take you for a noob and basically tell you to just let them do their job and come back when it's done... Stillen was light years away from this mindset. It's just the best...

The exhaust is not too loud which is good and definitely adds to the character of the car. I still think Nissan should have such an exhaust stock... The noise is worth it. The intake is also great, it seems to pull harder than stock but not sure yet. Max mentioned I would have to wait and drive the car a few hundred miles for the ECU to re-calculate the amount of air flow going to the engine.

Very nice sir...that's my exact setup. Now all you need to do is get some Eibachs and some wheel spacers and your car will look almost as great as mine. I say "almost", because PG is without question the best color. ;)

Thanks...

I am getting the springs and spacers within a few months. I will also post pictures. Your color is nice but red is definitely the best color...

Just a suggestion...I think H&R is going to give you too much of a drop. I'd stick with Eibach's or Teins if I were you.

Yeah I think you might be right but Stillen says the Eibach are not "approved" for the roadster. Which Eibach springs did you install on your car?

Sorry for the confusion, we're updating our system now, but the EIB6393140 do in fact work with the convertible with no problems. Same part number as the coupe.

Let us know if we can help with those! :)

Thanks Josh, I'll let max know then as the H&R seem to drop the car too much.
