Tanabe Y Pipe
I have scoured this site and youtube for information about the sound that a Tanabe Y pipe would give to a stock exhaust or even better, one with the Berk HFCs and a stock axle back. I am limited to waiting on getting a full cat-back for a fair amount of time so I am doing as much as I can without touching the stock axle back section. During my Berk install, I saw just how pathetic the OEM Y pipe truely is which is why I am looking at the Tanabe.
How much of a volume increase should I expect on top of the Berks? I am guessing the power increase will be a couple horsepower and torques but I am more concerned with the sound. It is a super easy install and I could always add an axle back section from various aftermarket exhausts later. Thanks in advance!

I have the Berk HFCs and the Tanabe Y Pipe and feel it produces the best sound possible from the 370Z. I had tried the Invidia catback but didn't like the sound or the drone it produced. The Y Pipe adds a little volume to the HFCs but not all that much.

That is perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I have made up my mind, I am just waiting for the Z store to price match and then I will head over to pick it up!

I have my Berks installed, but I realized that OEM Y pipe to cat connection was pathetic and needed an upgrade. Thanks for the advice everyone, time to order up!

Absolutely, here is my starting point for reference. Stock exhaust with the only add on being the Berk HFCs:

Actually, this is just the Berk HFCs and the rest is stock including the Y pipe. That video is just a reference for when I install the Tanabe Y pipe so that you guys can see the difference.
