HFC Engine Damage?

Im not a mechanic by any means but it seems like to me, if this were to actually happen, a regular cat would have a higher likeliness of clogging and spitting **** back than a hfc that is designed to keep the exhaust flowing more easily. Or am I missing something here on how the two items are fabed.

well, higher/faster flow can go both ways so, logically, it would be easier for something to be sucked back in a HFC vs OEM...

I've heard of turbo cars sucking up the broken end of an EGT senor in the downpipe and damagine the turbine wheel.
