It's really tame when cruising. Cruising at 2-2500 is very quiet. Even on the highway at 2500-3000 it never gets annoying or bothersome.

How is the volume level when cruising? Is it still relatively tame even with HFCs?

Over 3000 rpm it gets quite loud.

Was wondering whether any of you that have done the install did a reset on your ECU'S to erase the "Learned Driving" that the ECU had programmed prior to the exhaust being installed...I recall in one of the Berk related threads that Berks rexommended doing a reset on the ECU prior to doing the install of the exhaust...I did a search but haven't been able to locate that particular post...was wondering whether this recommendation is mentioned anywhere in the CBE install instrucyions...Does anyone know what's the purpose for this?

I know that TERBO didn't either....I read up on some posts on the forum and I'm a bit confused...Some recommend it and others say that the ECU will readjust itself over after a couple hundred miles...Some say that when resetting the ECU, you will actually speed up the process of the ECU adapting to the new exhaust...One person posted that when they did do the reset, that his Z drank like a fish for a couple of days before it settled in with the new exhaust...

Wondering if Berks or anyone that has acutal knowledge could chime in on this topic

Well Holliday, it looks like I'm ahead of the race now...package finally made it to my doorstep this afternoon...I'm not scheduled for an install for a couple of days, so you may still have a chance....Check out the first page for my prelude review and pics....

Nice review BOLIO! It looks like you win the :driving:! I don't even think mine has been shipped yet.

I am officially the first to have the exhaust shipped, and the last to get it and install it! CRAP!:mad:/

I feel you man!!! Don't worry homie...its dam worth the wait...It really felt like Christmas for me yesterday...Thought the day would never come when I would have the exhaust in my hands...I will be sure to post up vids and more reviews once the install is done.

Berk Technology is looking for a customer in Southern California with a 370Z interested in a Berk Technology cat-back exhaust system. Please PM me for details if you are interested. A discount price will be available for the exhaust if we can borrow the car for a day to test-fit. We'll also install it as part of the deal.

Thanks!

Well according to the guys at Berk, the ECU reset is not necessary...Went ahead and shot a PM to Rob regarding this issue....

In regards to your HFC's good luck...hope you don't run into the "Devil Bolts." These are the bolts located on the top of the Triangle Shaped Flanged which are hooked up to the header...I finally did my install a few days ago and I'm loving the exhaust...Its been raining a lot here on Guam, so I haven't had a chance to do a full review and get up some vids:shakes head:...Hopefully the weather will clear up over the weekend...I have much things to say about the exhaust and install....For now..lets just say that Berk hit the nail right on the head with this exhaust system:tup:
