STILLEN 370Z Dual Cat-Back Stainless Exhaust System

Josh, Any chance of an angled tip version coming? This may seem insignificant to most, but if I'm going to spend the money for an exhaust, I'd want it to

Josh,

Any chance of an angled tip version coming? This may seem insignificant to most, but if I'm going to spend the money for an exhaust, I'd want it to be exactly to my liking.

Josh is soooooooo witty hahaha. I think that was an accident but just seemed funny to me...

Being that these tips are welded on, and require preparation to ensure exacting production standards, having a ton of tip options can create additional inventory that can drive cost up.

That being said, we appreciate the feedback on an angled tip (which we have done with all previous Z exhausts), and Kyle and I have had plans to sit down in our next meeting and discuss an angled version, based upon several of your feedback.

If those of you who have interest in this style of tip could let us know, that will help things along.

I personally like this tip, which is unique to this exhaust, but we are absolutely open to ideas.

Thanks for posing the question. And no, it's definitely not 'insignificant'.. it's actually most of what's visible from the exhaust from anything other than a lift..

The rear factory fascia cutout is an oval with the stock exhaust tip being oval and angled. The design is excellent and flows with the vehicle's line. NISMO's tips are round, and not oval, like Stillen's. I would like to be able to have the factory oval/angle tips on the Stillen; can locals do that?

I already asked Josh to post some pics from different angles. Josh, can you do that for us?

NISSAN only loaned us the car for a few days so I'm not sure how many different angles our photographer was able to get. Josh and I will go through the image library and see if we have a similar shot to the one posted previously.

Also, I don't know the exact weight savings but I want to say that it's something like 10-12 pounds. I'll have to check with our engineers for that exact info.

Both the mufflers and the tips are polished 304 stainless steel.

I got the Stillen exhaust installed last night, along with the Berk HFCs. I'm working on getting some video clips together and will post those separately later, but for now, here are some pics, because I know many of you are eager to see how the Stillen exhaust looks from different angles:

It's a smidge lower. We tinkered with it for quite some time trying to get it perfect, but in the end this was the best we could do and I declared it good enough. (It was 12:30am by the time we were done.) I just added 1 more pic, btw.

Great photographs showing how the exhaust tips are situated. They are not shin-busters, and that's a good thing. Nice.

Thanks for the pics; looks amazing. It doesn't look like it sticks out as much as it appeared on the Stillen video, so I like.
