The VQ design.. Once you put TP or HFC's on, you'll hear the "air fart" as I like to say...I was hoping the grumble of the Meisterschaft would eliminate it, but I see it doesn't...Amazing growl for a V6 though...

holmanyu:

I have Stillen G3 long tube intakes, Stillen CBE, and Berk HFCs at the moment, but would like to purchase the Meisterschaft.

Did you have test pipes installed in the youtube video, or were those a more recent addition?
Do you have the SUS or Titanium exhaust?
What did you pay for the exhaust, and from where?
Is the cruising noise quiet like stock (it is with my current setup)? I don't care if it's loud when I'm accelerating to any degree...

Thanks in advance...
Marcus

He sold his car with the exhaust. I had it on mine, see the exhaust database for videos and info. I had ERZ HFCs on mine. We bought it from GTHAUS directly. Around $2,200 shipped.

I have some nice vids in my build thread with this exhaust Berk HFC's and full CBE. My videos with the windows down are distorted but the rest are perfect. If you do not romp on the throttle and you can keep a steady load it is really not that bad. I love it!

Mr&Mrs, thanks for the vids...sounds like you have a very weird reverberation when accelerating under any load...wonder if it's the Berks, and if it would sound different with test pipes? I have Berks plus Stillen intake and CBE, but no reverb like this. However when the exhaust is cold I get a sound similar to yours, just less pronounced. Anyone have Meisterschaft CBE plus test pipes with drive-by vids?

Thanks...

Hmmm good question on if it is the CATS causing it. I never used it with the stock CATS to know if there is a difference or not.

did you sell the car as well, did you have the full exhaust with the pipes or just the muflers?
