You can buy all three segments separately if you want for a complete Cat Back.

Default GTHAUS exhaust

I am very intrested in this exhaust.. i got a few questions though,

Is the sound of this exhaust to loud that it is annoying?

Also, how does it sound it a constant speed of 30mph and 60 mph

I want a loud exhaust but just want to make sure that this one has a good tone to it and something i wouldnt get tired of..

anybody got suggestions?

If you are concerned about it being too loud, this is not the exhaust for you. Watch the video on YouTube again and watch the guy next to the scooter. :P

thats not what i said at all.. I want a loud exhaust, but I want to make sure that it has a quality tone.. all of the videos on the net show it at full throttle and at high speeds. havent seen a video yet besides that.

OK. I just installed some ERZ HFC's and my GTHAUS Meistershaft GTS. It's rediculously loud! But it sounds sick! Had to turn off SRM as it was too much! I hope it quiets down some otherwise I will be getting a different exhaust. We shall see!

Well at this point I think I am going to get a different one. I live in the city and this is too loud. I also have 200 cell count HFC's so that does not help at all! I would strongly recommend stock cats with this. This would be great for the non daily driver who tracks their car! It sounds SICK!!! I like it a lot. But my car is a DD so I need something quieter. I will be at the Cars and Coffee meet tomorrow (South Center Mall) at 10am if you want to hear it.

I think it is annoying, especially when you first drive off from say a light. You have to grandma it and not push on the gas too much or else it's F1 time! I find myself keeping the RPMs under 3K until I get up to speed as it gets too loud. That's no fun! But I guess it will save on gas? lol

No. Once you get to 3K RPMs + it sounds a lot better. At crusing speed its like normal. But if you gas it, it gets raspy.

This thing is for the hard core import dude who wants to show off and go drifting! I'm afraid to say, that is not me. LOL

Let us know what you decide. I'd like something a little quieter as well. My neighbors will thank me for it.

tjlazer,

Really appreciate the input about the exhaust, that definitely helps me a lot with understanding the exhaust.. i called up gthaus today, and the guy was telling me all about the exhaust. Did you get the full cat back system or did you just get section 3.. The guy was telling me if i went with just section 3 it would be a little more quiet, but less horsepower obviously.

Any chance you can get a video up or send me a link. appreciate all the help and good luck with your F1 370z haha
