CBE or HFC + CIA
So after ALOT of reading...... I just cant decide which would be a better route. Just when I was ready to pull the trigger on a good CBE, I have read that the real restriction is our cats. SO..... would it be a better value to go with a good HFC and CAI with the stock exhaust, or a CBE by itself.
I would like to do both, and eventually will, but for now... can only afford one option or the other. Your thoughts? |

I went catback and intake for warranty purposes. My dealer told me not to come with forced induction or cats. Bolt ons were ok with my service department, so thats what I went with.
but bang for the buck, HP wise, HFC are ridiculous. I would have spent my money on them had my car not been under warranty. Another thing to think about, if you show your car or like cosmetic stuff, intake and exhaust are visually noticable and can make your car look good from a mod stand point Good luck making a decision |

FI CBE alone has proven 20whp gains. I would start there.
