Heads up on Product discount!

What’s up guys,

I was just talking with James from Motordyne Engineering and he said he would like to thank everyone for stopping by their booth, showing love and support at the 2 010 SPOCOM event. James wants to show his deepest appreciation to your efforts. James said that MD will offer a 10% discount on any purchased till the end of July. If you are interested, just shoot James an email at: james@motordyneengineering.com and you’ll be able to get your discount confirmation.

Hurry while the offer last guys. James told me that they will only give out 500 discounts and it’s a bit over half way full. For any of you guys that are interested for the only “Intake manifold” option for our cars, hurry up and shoot James an email so you can get the 14HP/14TQ gain from this piece of awesomeness. I know these gains are for real because I’ve donated my car for their development and it is what pulled on my car after the installation.

Make sure you let James know that Henry sent you from the 370z forum and he’ll hook you up.

Enjoy!

I wasn't at SOCOM, but what does he sell for the 370? His site doesn't have anything listed for our cars...

Caravanshaka 07-22-2010 07:57 PM

Only heard rumors about the manifold, never seen it or any details though.

Red370 07-22-2010 08:27 PM

it looks like in that first picture above that plastic manifold it says "370Z", wondering if the one next to it is the prototype...

theDreamer 07-22-2010 08:49 PM

Need more info on what he has before people will jump on this.

"M370"

In another thread someone made mention of the "M370" being tested on a 370...

OMGWTFBBQ 07-22-2010 10:09 PM

Uhm.. how does anyone expect sales without any type of details released about the product in question?

I don't even know what they're selling. :icon14:

Hello guy’s sorry for the late reply, yes Motordyne will be a vendor on the370z forum within the next couple of weeks. Also the M370 is the plenum that is almost on its final stages, I worked with Tony on the R&D for this plenum and we tested it in many different ways, variation of elements to produce the new plenum for the 370z and the G37. It will be out in full production shortly. Also MD has a line up coming up can’t say much of it at this particular moment. For example for the exhaust that’s coming for the 370z/G37 will change the industry standard, this exhaust will set the bar real high people will have fun with this one. It will be different from the Shockwave design of 350z/G35.
M370z, not sure how much it will run for. I can find that out soon, HP and Tq varied by many factors, example when the temperature was in the low 70’s plenum gained about 14-16 Hp/14-18tq. Now when the temperature was about 100’ degrees outside (atmosphere) the plenum produce minimum of 12hp and 15tq. Yes there are many variations, temperatures, equations that can play a big factor on the Hp and Tq gains, as you know from previous independed dyno runs on MD products, they have always delivered, and it is always the best bang for your buck. For those who don’t know about MD or what they do you can check out their site Online Store - MotorDyne Engineering

Below are a few sites on some independent dyno runs for 350z/G35 car.

ART race pipes (test pipe replacement. Minimize drone, does not rasp, monster torque at lower RPM and more HP gain through out the RPM "on top of" conventional test pipes.

Shockwave TDX2 (V2): Cat back (X pipe) true duo exhaust system. Large gain at the mid and high RPM with "mind blowing" sound. This exhaust will not drone nor rasp. Comes in rolled or straight titanium tips (burned or not is optional at no additional cost)

MREV2: Manifold for 2003-2006 Z/Gs. (no HR version yet). Great gains, stealth modification. DIY friendly and a very efficient HP/$.

Review: http://www.g35driver.com/forums/tune...dyno-test.html

1/2, 5/16 Plenum spacer: 2003-2006 Z/Gs (no HR versions yet). Great gains, stealth modification. DIY friendly and a very efficient HP/$

MD has taken time to do a lot of R&D to come out with a great product line up for our 370z cars. Guys, these products have been tested on my car, I have been involved on the R&D process along with a few people in the industry and you guys won’t be sorry, the product lineup will set the bar high. MD has been cautious about their product just the fact that there are companies out there that steal ideas and make it their own, Tony is making sure that what he has in store for the lineup cannot be duplicated by no other company.

Red370 07-22-2010 10:17 PM

wow, that plenum has me pretty excited, 14whp and 18tq? im sold.

Xan 07-22-2010 10:20 PM

Guess it will be a wait and see (which makes a 10% discount before the end of this month pretty useless)

I know the pre-HR 3.5 had a restricted air flow and a spacer solved that, that's why you saw good gains. The re-design rev-up engine in 2006 already took a lot away from that and the fact that there is no HR spacer is probably a good indicator that there wasn't anything to gain on that design.

So I would be interested to see what this can do on our engine.

What intakes did you have for the test and were these included in the gains or was the baseline with the same intakes?

this is what I thought too, so is the new plenum larger? And I thought it was a tight fit in that area so can it be any larger?
