Default Header Wrap before tune??

I installed my headers (F.I. LTH) about two weeks ago and love them but I'm in need of a tune. I spoke with Richard at UpRev today and he strongly suggested that I wrap the headers before getting a tune due to the increased under hood temps affecting the potential of the tune. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to take his advise and uninstall the headers, wrap them and reinstall them before my tune but, I would just like some thoughts/opinions on the necessity of wrapping the headers . Is it necessary and has anyone done it for there Z?
