Lou Fusz has their version 2 exhaust on his Z.
ZCarMan and Tooohip have the version 1. Version one uses a Magnaflow muffler and looks like it's pretty good quality. I'm assuming V2 is going to be as good or better in terms of quality.

AAM Competition 370Z 2.5" True Dual Exhaust
What version is this? Looks like the only one listed on their site |

That's the V2. I would call them to make sure they have them in stock before you order, though.

I have heard Lou's car but don't remember it really. I know the V1 with HFCs is pretty loud, but V2 is supposedly quieter than V1.
I'll get Lou in here to chime in.

It sounds great. But I also have 3" down pipes. It's not as loud as F.I. 18" CF + HFC's, but I am starting to like the mild notes in the lower RPM's, which F.I. doesn't have. I drove a local guy's Z yesterday that had HFC + F.I. and it was loud and aggressive, I kind of appreciate the AAM now.
Here is a link to the exhaust note. You may have to fast forward it a bit |

If you want crazy loud your best bet is waiting for the FI CBE with no resonators. It's only like a 6 week wait... The test pipes should hold you over until then.

Dude... good things come to those who wait.
You can always drill holes in the muffler while you wait on your exhaust.
