AAM Competition exhaust
Anybody have this exhaust? Have and problems/ fitment issues?
|
Lou Fusz has their version 2 exhaust on his Z.
ZCarMan and Tooohip have the version 1. Version one uses a Magnaflow muffler and looks like it's pretty good quality. I'm assuming V2 is going to be as good or better in terms of quality. |
AAM Competition 370Z 2.5" True Dual Exhaust
What version is this? Looks like the only one listed on their site |
That's the V2. I would call them to make sure they have them in stock before you order, though.
|
I agree. Have you hears one? I wonder if it's loud. There is a vid on that page and it doesn't sound that bad.
|
I have heard Lou's car but don't remember it really. I know the V1 with HFCs is pretty loud, but V2 is supposedly quieter than V1.
I'll get Lou in here to chime in. |
It sounds great. But I also have 3" down pipes. It's not as loud as F.I. 18" CF + HFC's, but I am starting to like the mild notes in the lower RPM's, which F.I. doesn't have. I drove a local guy's Z yesterday that had HFC + F.I. and it was loud and aggressive, I kind of appreciate the AAM now.
Here is a link to the exhaust note. You may have to fast forward it a bit |
Hmmm..... I'm looking for crazy loud lol. I already ordered test pipes, just need a cat back but I don't wanna wait or pay the mxp price tag.

You can always drill holes in the muffler while you wait on your exhaust. :bowrofl: |
Maybe these test pipes will hold me over:(
