Has anyone peeled back a stock muffler and looked inside

I would weld in a straight pipe -- open chamber will probably result a lot of unwanted turbulence and you may very well lose power. Also, it's gonna be really

Also, it's gonna be really loud... you might want to pack steel wool or something like that around the straight pipe if you go that route to keep the sound down. __________________ Enjoy it.
