I had my intake installed yesterday. Went for a drive for a couple of minutes. Check the intake, and both tubes were really hot. Is that normal??

If it feels normal and you got the engine to normal temp, and the engine isn't missing, then thats normal for the tubes to absorb heat from the engine with the hood closed. You do have the long tubes right?

Long or short, it's going to get hot. If it's under the hood, it'll get hot. I'd say you're fine, just don't get a ticket for speeding when trying to hear them scream at WOT.

Have you guys ever touched the metal part of the hood prop after a long drive? Our engine bays get HOT, so everything is going to heat soak.
