Default Louder after detail

Im sure im just smokin something but... i swear my car sounds and feels louder, almost more raspy after my detail yesterday. I noticed they cleaned the snot out of my tips, outside and inside.. Im sure it just has something to do with the colder temps past few days but... still it just seems more aggressive. Maybe the kids at the detail shop had some fun with my car! Hah i remember the days of my buds working for a detail shop... was a nissan dealership, how i first drove a 300zx TT

haha yea probably in your head. maybe the reduced drag from the surface contaminants being removed is allowing you to go faster

so your friends would joy ride the cars that they detailed?

It's probably a temperature thing. Colder temps = more aggressive start up idle.

Damn...that was your 370Z in the shop for a detail? I was surprised how quickly I was able to get to redline, and with your VDC off donuts were second nature!

Well, at least add the Red GTR start button for a whopping hp gain of 0.

I think you said you're in WA state and the temperatures have been cooler. You may also be near sea level. Both factors would contribute to a bit more power but I'm not sure how much. Where did you get the detail and did they do a good job?
